Established Boston Scientific A/S as the first non-US subsidiary of Boston Scientific Corporation. Inventor of 20 patents, among others the Meadox Surgimed’s Olbert PTA Balloon, BSC’s Esophageal Stent, Millimed’s Zero Link Stent, fiber covered stent and Nitrogen Oxide eluting intravascular devices.
Trifon Liakopoulos, PhD, Global Operations
15 years of experience in microengineering science and technology with a broad understanding of the global micro-fabrication industry landscape. Conceptualized and designed numerous micro-devices and took them from concept through development and to commercialization. Designed and setup wafer processing laboratories and established micro-fabrication supply chain including equipment manufacturers, laboratory suppliers, high volume manufacturers and microchip packaging contractors.

Sanford Simon, PhD
Professor of Biochemistry, Cell Biology and Pathology at Stony Brook since 1997. Dr. Simon joined the faculty at Stony Brook as an Assistant Professor in 1969 and was promoted to Associate Professor with tenure in 1975. Dr. Simon has over 40 years' of experience in Biochemistry and Cell Biology as well as Applied Genetic Research. From 1967 to 1969, Dr. Simon was a Guest Investigator at Rockefeller University. Dr. Simon received a B.A. in Zoology and Chemistry from Columbia University in 1963, a Ph.D. in Biochemistry from Rockefeller University in 1967, and studied as a Postdoctoral Fellow with Nobel Prize winner Max Perutz in Cambridge, England.
Jeffrey Dover, MD
Dr. Dover graduated as the silver medalist, Magna cum Laude with an M. D. degree from the University of Ottawa. His dermatology training was received at the University of Toronto followed by research fellowships at St. John's Hospital for Diseases of the Skin at the University of London in London, England, and a two-year photomedicine fellowship at the Beth Israel Hospital and the Massachusetts General Hospital of Harvard Medical School. Dr. Dover is Associate Clinical Professor of Dermatology, at Yale University School of Medicine, and Adjunct Professor of Medicine (Dermatology) at Dartmouth Medical School.
